IN THE KNOW

Are you in the know? Wait, before you answer... I mean do you know everything you need to know about yourself personally?

In life we're trained to look out before we look in.
Sadly most aren't taught to look up first.
And that makes it easy to lose focus, when our outlook is out of order the perspective is also.
Then we're tasked with developing the negatives, those pressing pains that still punch the gut as if it were yesterday; we sometimes falter.
As depression shackles ones feet and sadness sinks in the souls corridors echoing the miseries of days gone.
That's because with no true inner light source, it's hard to see purpose when pain has saddled your sorrows.
Inner light bill paid or not, we're still expected to act as if we have it all together, it's a damn impossible task to take on.
So each day we walk and ride among an army of people hurting on the inside and pretending on the outside.
We wonder why they act out: Hurt people, hurt people
Abused people, in some form abuse people
But thank God love can conquer all, dispelling the white washed face.
The reality remains, some everyday off grid actors and actress' should still win academy awards for overly dramatic performances in the stages of life.

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts...." Shakespeare
No matter your part, guard, nourish and clean the debris from your heart...

SPRING CLEANING:
Decorating Your Heart with new hope
Well since Spring is here, it's just time.
Time to clean out closets, open windows and sweep out that gathered dust from boxes in the corner of your mind.
Sure the home needs a good do over, move a chair, rearrange a living room set or plan to expand for outdoor gatherings but what about the packages packed away in your heart.
We're damn near at summer but New Years resolution's didn't distance the diss list of things you said you wouldn't carry, that you'd buried (or so you thought) and they still haunt the heart.
Well writing is stress-relieving, lending creativity to the process allows the pen man to process the characters in their piece (private or masked for public), gaining different perspectives on life and their situation.
Much like a photo album it also chronicles the emotions behind the smiles and events.
And most say they look back and see how God made a way and it increases their faith and personal spiritual relationship.
If you can speak you can write,
Clean out the clutter Instead jot the jewels, Garner the gems in your soul and share your wisdom..
And remember if you got a problem:
Take it to the Bridge
