CHARLOTTE Biker girls traditionally ride on the back of motorcycles.
They follow their man’s lead and create a humble sub-culture. But times have changed, and this brash brand of female bikers are seeking to add some pink and passion to their roles.
Doc Honeycutt, executive producer of, “Beautiez & Bikerz,” a reality television series, wants to showcase ladies from the Queen City and surrounding areas with a tickle for the open road.
By day she works in the medical field but after helping others she knows exactly how to relieve the days stress.
Honeycutt's 1300 Suzuki Hayabusa, is the perfect prescription.
Since bikers are a permanent fixture of American history, Honeycutt wanted to start an all-female riding club in 2006 but it disbanded.
And that’s when she began to meet up with like-minded riders at various events.
As the sisterhoods grew, she said they’re description morphed.
They don’t consider themselves a club but an example of real women that embrace life.
HIT THE ROAD: DOCTOR’S ORDERS

Honeycutt began riding over 20 years ago and says she’s been addicted ever since.
“I’ve began riding with my sister, we started together, and we didn't want to ride on the back of the guys bikes at Black Bike week,” Honeycutt said. “So, we got us on our moms, she was a bike babe too my main influence, and once we got started it was no turning back.”
Her brash band of riders encompasses some of the truths and misconceptions associated with female bikers.
“The biggest character in the group is ‘the Real Charlotte Monroe,’ her energy always exudes the room and makes everyone laugh but we all have our moments,” Honeycutt said.
“Myself and Chirl Girl are the peace makers in the group, we are always trying to see how we can help the girls get along” …” It’s always something on petty and the fighters: Shador, Babee Mama and Genesis jump in.”
Sherika Staton, aka “The Charlotte Monroe,”

was born in Monroe, NC but the 38-year-old has planted roots and trimmed ends in Charlotte as a highly demanded cosmetologist in the area for over 13 years. The mother of two is the owner of Conventional Looks.

LIFE IS A HIGHWAY: GENESIS AND BABEE MAMA
Lisa Harris aka Genesis is native of Detroit, Michigan who relocated to Charlotte in 2004. She married Meka Davis aka Babee Mama almost 10 years.
The cancer survivor still battles lupus. Genesis lost her leg years ago but that has never stopped her. The fourth-degree black belt, drives a truck and owns several businesses.
Her greatest loves are family and hitting the open road “Big Redd,” a 2001 GSXR 1000.

Meka Davis aka Babee Mama is a native of the Queen City and a true southern bell. She’s known for mastering the skills her grandmother passed down in the kitchen.
A family woman, Babee Mama is happily married to Lisa Harris aka Genesis. The couple are raising their children and she attributes her inspirations to the women in her life.
“I was raised by three of the strongest, smartest and beautiful women on the planet,” Davis said.
She’s modeled for over 17 years, in commercials, fashion shows, runway shows and print ads but her true love is riding her Kawasaki Volkan 1500 Classic.
“I named her "Princess Tiana.”
Davis is the executive assistant and brand marketer for Rude Gal Ryders, a documentary by Honeycutt that display the insides of the female biking world.
She also partners in the upcoming series and the co-host of "Life from Studio DOC" which is aired every Thursday.
“On the show "BEAUTIEZ & BIKERZ" I have the pleasure of being in the best of both worlds,” Davis said.
This crew believe they depict the new era of riders.
“We love the idea that were showcasing a harsh reality, what brings us
together and sometimes threatens to tear us apart, but it makes us stronger,” Honeycutt said.
“Beautiez & Bikerz shows you can be strong positive women who are confident in our own skin”…..”Showing we can have great TV without the labels of B××ches."
Straddling the hogs in their new reality series is a band of female Divas from Charlotte and surrounding areas determined to change the image of Beauties on Bikes.
Meka Davis aka Babee Mama said the sisterhood has plans of sowing seeds in the Queen City communities by following Doc’s example.
“I want to see women in love with themselves, breaking the barrier of what girls can do and confident in the skin they’re in…” A big plus is the scores of potential female bikers.”

PUSHING THE POSITIVES: DIVAS LASTING LEGACY
Carolann Saracco aka CA
Saracco is a certified personal trainer with a bachelor’s in health science and she is a licensed massage therapist. Her passion is helping people reach, maintain and focus on a healthy lifestyle choice.
And with an extensive background in athletics Saracco is an elite runner. “My passion, my therapy is running, although I have been a competitive runner since the age of five, I now strive for my own personal records and goal in this stage of my life.”
Part of living to her fullest potential is letting her hair down with her sisters on the road. She learned that after tragically losing her brother in an accident. That’s when Saracco sought to continue his legacy in her heart, by fighting for what she wants.
“I personally like to live life to the fullest, I was raised by two amazing parent who taught me to always strive for my very best, always have a dream and always put goals in front of me,” Saracco said.
“To never be afraid of losing but not to let it defeat you.”
“I am a princess though, bit of a” Daddy’s girl” so I need to be treated right!! But I chose a sporting event over a five-star restaurant any day!!
So, I am a combo of toughness, fitness, kindness and beauty.
We love the idea that were showcasing a harsh reality, what brings us together and sometimes threatens to tear us apart, but in the end, it makes us stronger,” -Doc Honeycutt, the show’s executive producer said.

Verlena Nesbitt aka Split

Split loves the outdoors and hanging with her club sisters.
She has been a city bus driver for over 17 years and enjoys modeling, bowling and spending time with family.
DIVA’S DETERMINED, FOCUSING ON THE SPOTLIGHT
Honeycutt said their main goal is to show everyone the importance of owning and loving themselves, “Everyone is different but special in their own way and I think we live happier when we accept that.”
She said she learned a profound lesson in the initial tapings.
“I think when we had our first filmed photo shoot for our Beautiez and Bikerz calendars everyone pitched in to make sure everyone's clothes hair was on point a real sisterhood.”
“That’s what Beautiez and Bikerz is all about, a growing sisterhood.”
