It's coming, Charlotte's growth is exploding and Iredell will see major changes in years to come.
I'm excited about working with the Statesville Free News to share features and news that effects you, offering a free alternative to staying linked in on what's going on in your city.

URBAN NEWS:
As the Queen City crowns, entertainment, non-profits, churches and the everyday reader wants to stay in the know and with a huge interest from surrounding areas about an urban perspective, I created a alternative.
It's to celebrate, catalog and connect minority news with mainstream media. We've partied in the major cities, we get our news from the metropolitan area but are we linked in networking?
Social media is a great tool but content is King to getting your target audience.

So are the businesses that service the minority population in a database?

Do you want advertisers in the know about your community needs?
And lastly, how well do you know your neighbors?
Let's bridge the gap... With tons of experience in the newspaper field I'm undertaking the project.
Please submit your community news, if it's a revelant piece it will be presented to my editor at the SVL, (if not accepted for time or space restraints, we'll still place a spotlight on your accomplishments). I do have associates in other regions. (Mecklenburg, Rowan, Gaston, Catawba or outside of state) we'll find out where your News goes and get the right audience aware of your events.

Bridging your concerns with mainstream media
Submit story ideas, poetry and sound off concerns about what you think should be done to make your city better as a whole.
